The Progressive Push: Ideas That Refuse to Stay Quiet
Thoughts that challenge power. Voices that won’t stay quiet.
There comes a point where watching isn’t enough.
Where being “informed” feels hollow.
Where the weight of inaction starts pressing against your chest — and the silence gets too loud to ignore.
That’s where The Progressive Push begins.
Not as a response to a headline.
Not as an angry rant.
But as a deliberate, long-brewing decision to speak when we’re told it’s safer not to.
This is a space for thought that agitates.
For ideas that challenge both complacency and convenience.
For people who understand that if progress isn’t uncomfortable, it probably isn’t real.
I didn’t grow up in progressive politics.
I was raised in a devout Christian family in the Deep South. But I also grew up questioning everything — and those questions never stopped.
So I started pushing.
Not to win arguments. But to understand reality.
And to speak to the people who want to understand in the same way.
The Progressive Push is for those of us who know the system isn’t broken — it’s working exactly as it was built. And we’re done pretending otherwise.
This series blends commentary, storytelling, and critique to explore:
🔍 Political deconstructions — decoding power, policy, and propaganda
🧩 What they’re not telling you — spotlighting suppressed stories or intentional omissions
🌱 Justice through systems — climate, education, labor, healthcare, equity
🧭 Movement reflections — what it takes to keep pushing when the system pushes back
While this Substack is where I go deeper, this project isn’t limited to writing.

If you’re looking for space to ask questions, challenge narratives, or simply not feel politically homeless — the FB group is open, real, and growing.
Too much of the world is still shaped by the loudest liars.
Progress isn’t something that happens on its own.
Silence in the face of inequality is its own form of violence.
The Progressive Push is my effort to write through the noise, challenge the script, and keep pushing — even when it’s uncomfortable.
Especially when it’s uncomfortable.
We’re not here to echo what’s already being said.
We’re here to write what hasn’t been heard yet.
This is for the people who feel like politics left them behind — or never included them to begin with.
It’s for those who don’t see themselves in red vs. blue debates.
It’s for people who’ve been told to “tone it down” — and are finally ready to turn it up.
If you care about people more than parties…
If you believe justice requires more than votes…
If you’re tired of waiting for someone else to say what you know is true…
Then this space is for you.
Dream Big, Act Bigger.
